Original music blasting into your earholes from circa 2006!!

I managed to fire up my old-school Tascam 2488 digital multitrack and then transferred the tracks from this to my UAD rig for mixing with minimal EQ/processing.

I coaxed a bit of mojo out of this one by running each track through the UAD Neve Preamp and Studer A800 plugins...then put the UAD 1176 on the vocal and instrument bus, put a little RMX16 ambience reverb on the drum bus.

I think the master bus actually did most of the mixing for me...I stacked the UAD Precision Channel Strip, Fairchild 670 just to get the preamp sound (no compression), Manley VoxBox for light compression/EQ/Saturation, and finally, the Ampex ATR-102 master tape emulation.

Hopefully I can salvage more old songs from this heavy little time capsule soon.
